The Imperial OPA is proud to be walking in the 2010 Inman Park Festival Parade!!!We have worked out a few walking circus numbers, Wrangled a few wild performers, and harnessed an elephant to strut with us! Come see us 4-24-10
Dodekapus Aprial 9th show!
The Imperial OPA will be Performing on April 9th with The Back Pockets in a Arts Extravaganza call the Dodekapus! This will be a show not to be missed. Our Lin up of Atlanta artists and Atlanta performers includes, Aerials, Fire Spinning, Hooping, Dance, Drama, Body Stacking and HUMAN PYRAMIDS! not to mention a Elephant (tho just the bones will be walking around (come out to see what we are talking about (FYI - no real Elephants were harmed in the making of this act))) . The Event location will be on 431 Fair Street in Castle berry hills in Atlanta GA.. Google map~ View Larger Map The Doors open at 8pm and the party goes till 4am. The OPA will be performing at or around 11ish - but before that their will be live bands, and art happening all around - and after that a DJ will be playing you in to the night. The Imperial OPA is going to be doing a performance at the Launch Party of Dashboard CoOp! Its a free show with no admission so be sure not to miss it!
Cirque du Beaute
Come one come all - Step right up for the Imperial OPA's first official show! We will be performing in Cirque' du Beaute to benefit St.Jude. Saturday October 3, 2009 the party is from 7pm-12 am and we will be performing at 9-10 and on and off again throughout the night. This upscale event is Cocktail attire so come on down and mingle with some fun circus folks. On with show OPA~
CarnEvil – Sep 26th
We will be having some of our performers out at the CarnEvil event September 26th at Lenny's Bar located in the Old 4th ward here in Atlanta. This event is a Fundraiser to help establish a recycling program in the East Atlanta Village. Their goal is to raise $1200+ to cover 1 year of recycling. The show is from 2pm-12am and the door charge is only $5. There will be Bands, Carnival Games, Monster Wrestling, and a few members of the troupe preforming on and off throughout the day.
